Hey guys,

Well, I am a danish guy, 33 years old and on in most peoples eyes a skilled, hard working and successfull security specialist in the IT world. Was married for 10 years, have 2 childen, the whole story. But when I turned 31 I got divorced and my life was turned upside down. Well, I feel like I have rediscovered myself in this period, met somebody I used to know. The same crazy, non-stop partying guy who since the age of 15 got so passionated and fascinated of trance music. Spend all my teenage years practicing on my turn-tables, bying records and making every party- and as many of the mayor events in Europe - as I could! Lived those years trough the music, both when I was out playing or making up new sounds and tracks with my friends or we was at a club or planning the next big tour. I will admit, that it went a little overboard a couple of times and I might have taking it a bit too far, but still, I remember so much of that time as a fantastic journey and I have never had any regrets concerning it.
Still, today, many years after, I am sitting watching ~ Tiësto - Live @ Amsterdam Music Festival 2015, and it just gets completely inside my! It is the same fuc.... feeling as I remember so well from back then! The music still does the exact same thing to me! Its incredible!

So anyways, before I make this any longer than -oh, too late. I have just been shopping around the old interwebs trying to get a little up to date - cause a lot has changed since back then - but I guess the soul is still the same!
This seemed like a good place to start hanging out a little. Just thought it would be nice to have a place were there is others like myself, and were there is some discussion and sharing things going on. A place you can ask questions.

As music goes; I have always loved melodic and vocal trance, gladly with a little something added to. I also love psy- and progressive. As DJ´s go Judge Jules was for me amazing growing up. Ferry Corsten pulled of some of the best shows and Armin Van Buuren was like an enigma! But it started for me in the late nineties with Ferry Corsten, Chicane, ATB (I loved the ATB sound) and Marc et claude along with Blank and Jones I think. Evolved from there, I fell in love with Ibiza and the sound that started coming from there. So a group of us more or less around 18 years old guys managed to get permitted going to Ibiza for the summer. Was that something else just standing in the middle of it, the pulsating heart of it all - the essense of trance and party! The clubs completely took my breath away! We started out attending an early event at Es Paradis at 10 in the morning for some loungy tunes and a lot of tequila. That became quite a party very fast. After spending a couple of days just exploring San Antonio and the selection of bars, discos, theme partys and what have you (there was even a danish bar, "the little mermaid) we was eager to see what was in store for us wednesday at Eden where non other than Judge Jules was presenting. That was fuc... insane! The place, the surroundings, interior, the music and just the atmosphere. And when the foam started blazing down as the morning came closer I was in a state of complete happiness. That was an epic experince. Since then I had the pleasure of Privilege, Space and- of course, Amnesia which represented a league of its own. But then again, IMO every one of those clubs had each their own special magic and appeal.
Every year on Ibiza was magic! And we was a bit younger than the average guest - first year or two at least.

So back to present time, I am planning on arranging a little trip to go and see something awesome. So first of all, I am looking forward to see what next year brings on that front :-)

Some of the most unique tracks are for me: Delerium - Silence (tiestos in search of sunrise remix)
Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (tiesto remix) Chicane - Saltwater (Máire Brennan is epic) Blank and Jones - The nightfly and Rui De Silva - Touch me. Those are all in the absolute to, but there is so much amazing music. Energy 52, ATB, Paul Van dyk, Picotto, Svenson and Gielen and the list never ends.

Well, that was not how I had planned this - at all! It sort of just happened on the fly.

Cheers guys,
DanishSaint
