hello people can someone help me, im downloading the awesome greg downey podcasts on i tunes but they come down in mpeg 4 for some annoying reason and i want em booming in my car but my head unit dont play this format. there is an option to convert to aac, but i have done this and cant find the aac version on i tunes, does anybody on here know how to get the aac convertion to burn? or know where i can get it in mp3?

Whats the podcast? If its the same as global code, check the hotpick section of this site. It will be there after airing.

If your trying for more suitable format johnny, if you go to preferences in iTunes, General, then import cd settings, that will change the format you can convert files to when you right click over them "Create ... Version". It creates a duplicate of that file within iTunes, which can be revealed on your computer to burn to cd in a format your player supports. Even if you need to just lower the bitrate (portable devices batteries last longer on lower bitrates). Havings said that though, as Dave says, mp3 versions are available on this site

hi leigh thanks for the advice i will try it shortly and thanks dave it was the current mix on here and have now got it thanks, was wanting the back catalogue they do on i tunes but dont know why it comes down on mpeg4 on there and mp3 on here! cheers again.
