Proxi
A 24 year old Englishman with a unlimited passion for trance music, Proxi takes aim for the hairs of the back of listener's necks. His love for the power of melodic, uplifting and euphoric records led him with his trousers down to make his own personal tribute to what he believes is his spiritual friend - trance music.
Trancing It Up is a mix series that began in 2005 following a 2 or 3 years of Proxi finding "his sound" after the purchase of his first decks and mixer, the Pioneer CMX-3000 and DJM-3000. Right from the off, the 2 hour journeys would involve emotional intros, melodic breaks and an uplifting climax using a combination of recent, rare and unreleased tracks. If euphoric, melodic, uplifting trance is your forte then perhaps TIU is an avenue for you to go down, then up, up, up!
