My name is Andy and i am 25. Back when i was a teenager, I fell in love with trance music on quite a big scale - this was back in the mid to late 90s when Trance was becoming really big - the first cassette single i ever bought was DJ Jean the Launch!
Up from there i got a bit older, started going clubbing (as you do), started getting into house music (as you do) and spent most my weekends partying then recovering (as you do)!!
Anyways when i was 19 i got my first pair of decks, a crappy pair of belt driven horrible things - but i had got the buzz for mixing and it wasnt long before i traded these in for a pair of 1210 MK5s - mixing a mixture of both House and Trance.
3 Years went by and although i loved my DJing hobby, things changed slowly and I had kinda failed to get into DJing mainstream which was a shame - the passion was always there but as the expression goes - its not what you know...
Nowadays i still absolutely love Dance Music, specifically Drum & Bass, Trance, some Electro & House and still some harder styles such as Hardcore and Hard Trance.
Born out of this perpetual love of Fance music, i have now started Beat Revolution, hoping to give budding DJs a place to put their mixes up online and share them with other people.
Nowadays its all about social networking and blogging etc and i hope Beat Revolution can help DJs by giving them a platform to link their DJing skills with their online prescence.
