Etnosphere
Gorbunov Eugene was born on March, 29th 1986 in Vladivostok, Russia (Soviet Union). In 1989 moved to Novosibirsk where he lives till today. He's been into music since childhood, embracing wide range of musical genres and absorbing it in all variety. Since 2000 a hobby is getting a more serious image. By listening to different music Eugene starts highlighting tracks with specific synthesized sound. Once having discovered Robert Miles work, he was totally drowned by the electronic compositions. At the tender age of 16, Eugene firstly hears works of Astral Projection, after which he decidedly stops and chooses in favor of Trance genre.
Since 2004 it was the time of study of "Fruity Loops" software. Although Eugene has been highlighting Trance as his main genre, he started with Ambient and Chillout genres. Why? Quite simple, the influence of the likes of Enigma and Era left their impact on his future musical outlook.
Consequently, choosing between various creative pseudonyms, in 2004 Etnosphere project was born. This decision was tied primarily with the tracks being prominently atmospheric, spacey and with ethnic influence. Thus, Eugene stepped on a new creative path. Reading, discovering and listening to new material he ends up discovering his own style. Atmosphere and ethnicity still presented in his work. However, it was inevitable that Eugene has moved to the style he has loved from the very beginning.
First track in Trance genre, "Sands Evolution", was written in 2004, however was left off on the "shelf".
In 2006 Eugene meets Paul Vinitsky, who helps him finding a label to sign "Sands Evolution". Moreover, Paul gives a lot of useful advices on the track and, consequently, makes a remix for it himself. Sands Evolution gets into Paul's playlist "Trance Dance Show" and receives plays on various stations, such as ETN.FM, Digital Vibes, Globalbeats FM, DigitalNights. By the same year, Etnosphere meets another local musician, Front (Pavel Popov), who helps him to make first steps in Cubase SX3. Later on, Pavel helps Eugene to improve sound quality, giving a lot of useful tips and constantly providing help on different aspects, which consequently leads to them writing mutual remixes for each other.
On April, 18th 2007, track "Sands Evolution" was released on Proxoz Digital and by then received support from the likes of Suzy Solar and Graham Gold. On 21th of April Eugene finds out that his track (remix by Paul Vinitsky) gets into famous Trancemaster 5007 compilation.
Later on, the track "Awakening" was released on the label Tranceport, which is a part of iRecords Group, and as a sequel - "Sensuality" EP on Abstraction Deep Records (USA) which included two tracks: "Trace at Coast" and "Places to Remember". "Trace at Coast" received support from one of the most influential trance duo, Aly & Fila in their radio show "Spiritual Moment" on ETN.FM. "Love For Life" on Belgian "Bonzai", "Effusion" (incl. Omen Remix) and a remix for Raneem - "Back In Time" on Proxoz have followed. Next was collaboration with Sasha Virus to produce "Fierra" which included remixes from Addex and Raneem. Single was featured as "Recommended Track" on Audiojelly, "Featured Releases" on Beatport and "Bestsellers Charts" on JunoRecords. Supported by Bobina in Russia Clubber's Choice (Episode 025) on DFM and Amadeus in Rhythm Nation.
"Goodbye, Earth" which was released 14 March 2009 with remixes from Shifted Reality, Eric Flash & Peter Burr, Abstract Vision, Nurretin Colak on Ispirato Records, received support from Andy Moor, Robbie Nelson (Solaris International 142, 147, 144 - 149 Forum Favourite), Bobaina (Russia Clubber's Choice 19), Tom Colontonio, DJ Graham Gold (TranceDayze: Episode 135), Danilo Ercole, Mark Sixma (Episode 056 mixed by M6), Suzy Solar, Paul Kershaw (The UK's Leading Trance Show).
In the beginning of 2009 a newborn label Harmonic Breeze signs an EP "My Little World" which included two tracks "And The World Doesn't Know" and "I Search For The World". The EP included Ferry Tayle & Stephan R, FRONT and Smart Apes remixes. The track was supported by Paul Oakenfold, Roger Shah (Magic Island - Music for Balearic People Episode 064), Marcus Schossow, M.I.K.E., Sied van Riel, Airbase, Jon O'Bir, Tom Colontonio, Pedro Del Mar, Manuel Le Saux (Top Twenty Tunes 269), Mike Saint Jules, Bart Claessen, Amadeus, Suzy Solar, Aly & Fila, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Bobina, Ronski Speed, Danilo Ercole, Michael Angelo & Jim, Tenthu, Fast Distance (Fast Distance Radio 017, In Motion 015), Amadeus (Rhythm Nation's Tune Of The Week) and many others.
In September 2009, Eugene signed three songs on the label System Recordings - the largest American record company, whose artists include such stars of the world of electronic music, like James Holden, Miss Kittin, Josh Wink, John Digweed, Sasha, Christopher Lawrence, Dieselboy, Adam F, D: Fuse and moore.
At the moment Eugene works upon the new tracks, including vocal and in collaboration with other producers. Conducts his radio show "Sensuality Session" on DiscoverTranceRadio - Liquid FM. As well as working on her debut album.
