Airtight
Airtight (Andy Dennett and Mark Lowes) have been DJ'ing under various alias' since the late 90s joining forces in 2003 as a DJ partnership before going on to start UK Trance label Motion in 2005.
Their label released tracks and remixes by Andy himself, Gareth Emery, The Thrillseekers, Greg Downey, Smith & Pledger, Mark Otten, T4L and of course Airtight.
Airtight’s debut release came in the form of our uplifting trance remix of Yamin feat. Marcie 'No One' - which was supported globally and entered the Trance top 10 at Beatport and hit number 3 in the Audiojelly trance charts - the release pack was completed with a remix from Andy Duguid also.
From starting the label in 2005 before its close in 2010 they continued to DJ, playing at many of great London clubs including The Cross and Turnmills where we graced the decks alongside Ferry Corsten, Ernesto & Bastian and Sied van Riel.
Airtight and their label Motion came to a close in 2010 however Andy and Mark decided in late 2011 that a year out of the scene was well and truly long enough, the pair reformed Airtight and hit the studio - the result of their newly found inspiration was a huge rework of Ralphie B's classic track 'Massive'. Their remix along with a remix from James Dymond was snapped up by Blackhole for an official release on their 'In Trance We Trust' imprint some 11 years after the original release.
With their first Original track almost complete, guest mixes and DJ sets in the diary this year is kicking off nicely for the duo, watch this space.
