8pm started djing on two Pioneer 500 mk II’s about 8 years ago which was considered “not done” in those days … spinning on cd decks, duh. These days everybopdy knows better and you have to search very hard for some Technics decks in the serious clubs and on the bigger parties, so I’d like to think I was ahead of all the big names. My style is not to be kept in one small cubicle, I like to play everything from house to progressive to trance to techno, whatever track appeals to me and fits in my current mood, favorite however was, is and will always be progressive and trance.
A role model I don’t have, through the years I have seen names come and go, too many to mention. Just to name a few I’d enjoyed at clubs and festivals; Scott Bond, Pulser, Lange, Cosmic Gate, Jochen Miller, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Johan Gielen, Paul van Dyk, Menno de Jong, Gareth Emery, Push/M.I.K.E., Airwave … as I said, too manny to mention.
